Like every week we want to welcome you to our weekly newsletter in which more than 500 startups enthusiasts get their weekly dose of startup news from the Brainport Eindhoven region! As a foundation we bring together entrepreneurs to learn from each other and to strengthen the ties in the Eindhoven startup community.

Last week, EU Commission came to Eindhoven for WIRE2016, a conference that focussed on setting up regional ecosystems to promote open innovation.

TU/e student Team FAST launched a crowdfunding campaign for renewable energy bus which is powered by fomic acid.
Government, industry and research institutions jointly invested 134 million euros in innovative research projects. PrintValley 2020 by TNO and TUE, which are working on 3D-printing innovation, is one of the approval projects. 
TU/e-alumnus Anton van Zanten won European Inventor Award 2016 (life time achievement award). Congrats!
